Description

A 12" x 12" watercolor, acrylic marker, and dirt piece made as part of 'the River' series. All were created with the intention of hanging at a 45 degree angle, so diagonally. I just don't know how to display it like that online :/ Just one part of a seven part series I did just after rereading Siddhartha, this piece got stuck to the other symbolic piece, 'balance' in the flooding that cancelled Bonnaroo 2025. These pieces left a mark on one another when I pulled them apart. This led me to a thick coat of gesso, which paved the way for the detail work that brought the om into play. It becomes what you make it.
