‘hierarchy of birds’ original doodle

Description

this is a 5" x 7" original doodle with alcohol ink and watercolor drawn along with 'Saint of Summer' by Twin Fin. it's a groovy EP! the morning i drew this, i was sitting in meditation, watching a bird on a fence post. i saw a blue jay swoop in, and the finch on the post quickly moved over for the jay. it seamlessly knew to make room for the bigger bird. there's clearly a power dynamic at play here.
