After bear and I took a trip to upstate SC to meditate by the creek in the woods, I was feeling grateful. When we drove home, she was looking out the window and I saw this, and I just had to paint it. After I got the sketch done, I only painted it in moments where I was feeling immense gratitude for the lady, essentially drawing that into the piece.   She’d be laying out in the sun behind the studio building, and I’d be so proud of her for being so good. Then, she’d stand up and walk into her actual studio within the building, and I’d feel even more proud.
