"The Evolution of Basketball' was a show in late fall in 2024. The show was in conjunction with the Jumpman Invitational NCAA basketball tournament in Charlotte. I approached the motif with 5 pairs of shoes that represented different periods of basketball culture through music on shoes.

Man, I remember waking up from my coma and finding out Kobe died in a helicopter crash. COVID was already hard enough to wrap the 75% of the head I had around, but that fact had me thinking the post-brain injury life I'd woken up into was fake. I just drew along with a couple Kobe Bryant interviews to capture his mentaility.
Space jam (SOLD)
I made it to 27 years old and had never seen Space Jam, so I drew along with it a couple times to capture what that movie meant to basketball back then. Lola didn't need to be so thick.
